Sport Relief Colour Run 13.03.20

Years 7-8 Sport Relief Colour Run – Friday 13th March

All Years 7-8 took part in a 3km Colour Run in aid of Sport Relief on Friday 13th March, which was held on our school fields. All students and staff that took part either walked, jogged or ran the course but they all had one thing in common – everyone was smiling and laughing as they neared the colour station. Whether it was because they were about to be pelted by bright pink or blue colour powder, or whether they were laughing at those who were coming out the other side with it all over them.

Several students raised sponsorship money , with one student, Michael C in Y7 raising £84!.  Our Just Giving site also raised £144 so thank you for these donations.

We had many other events running throughout our 2-weeks of Sport Relief fundraising, including a staff and student football tournament and the bake-off, which were all very popular.

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped raise awareness for such a great charity!  Our target was to raise £1,000 for Sport Relief. Due to the lock-down we are unable to access the total we raised, but we will announce this once we return to school.
