Student Feedback on New Build

May 17, 2012 | In: Important Notices Archive

“The new school is great and I can’t wait to move.” “…as soon as you walk in the front door it takes your breath away.” “Absolutely sensational” “I think the new build is amazing…” “It’s got lots of new stuff and technology…”

‘The new building was very big.  I was interested in the size of the Art rooms and thought the Finger Print idea was amazing.  The new school is great and I can’t wait to move.’
Spencer Brightwell, Year 9

‘The new school is amazing; as soon as you walk in the front door it takes your breath away.  At first I was worried about the toilets but now I think that they will be alright.  The best part about the new school is the Science classrooms and the hall, also the dance room and the outside of the classrooms.  I like the way it is set out because if you think about it, it will make it easier to go around and remember where every thing is.  The thing I am looking forward to is the gardens and nature areas.’
Alarna Boughtflower, Year 8

‘Absolutely sensational, I love the initial design of the build, all the colours and every piece of furniture and everything else in the building was amazing.’
Dylan Quantrill, Year 9

‘I think the new build is amazing and I wish I could go round again because it’s so cool.’
Jac Potter, Year 8

‘The new school is good and it is easy to get lost, it looks nice and clean not like the old school.  And it’s got a lot of new stuff and technology with lovely new seats and tables.  The Year 7 zone has Astroturf!’
Katie Hall, Year 8

‘I was hypnotised with the scale of the new build, the colours were so bright, it felt like I was in a dream but then a nightmare came when I had to leave.’
Kurt Forbes-Stewart, Year 9
