City Academy mentors have been helping year 6 students from Avenues Junior to improve their maths while at the same time improving their own understanding of the basic concepts that underpin more advanced maths. It has been a real joy to see the development of our students through the rigours of the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme. This programme, which is fully embedded into the curriculum at CAN, is having a positive impact on so many of the young people involved. Well done to both the organisers and students who have participated with such vigour.
